As a parent and teacher, I understand the unique responsibility of raising neurodiverse children. Here, you'll find support and understanding, and receive personalised coaching offering practical, tried-and-tested strategies designed specifically to enable your child(ren) to flourish and help your family as a whole to thrive. Both prior to and/or after diagnosis, we can offer reassurance and hope during what can feel like a very uncertain time. Based on first-hand personal experience and a wealth of knowledge, we can guide you through this challenging yet incredibly rewarding journey.
Our tailored support services
At Guided Hands, we offer a range of specialised coaching services, thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of your child and family. We strongly believe that neurodiversity is a superpower and something to be celebrated. Our focus is on the child as an individual and understanding how they respond to the world around them. Based on this, we offer a range of specific, practical strategies that equip them for life and effectively contribute to the overall wellbeing of the child(ren) and consequently the family as a whole.
Individual coaching
Receive dedicated one-to-one coaching, tailored precisely to your child's and family's specific needs. We focus on celebrating diversity, on overall wellbeing, offering practical solutions and creating a supportive environment in which your child can become their own self-aware and confident person.
Group support sessions
Connect with other parents/carers in a safe, non-judgmental space. Share experiences, gain insights, and find collective strength through guided group discussions and open, honest dialogue.
In-home consultations
For a more personal touch, we offer home visits within and around the Loughborough area. At the start of the journey, we encourage an initial home visit in order to gain an understanding of the family dynamics and an insight into the home environment. While this isn't essential, it has proved to be incredibly beneficial.
Online guidance & support
Access our coaching and consultation services conveniently via telephone or online. Receive a comprehensive consultation summary outlining the main areas discussed and the strategies that have been agreed, that can then be referred back to and put into practice, all from the comfort of your home.
